Not everyone knows that IUTER was born in 2002 as a crew of friends—snowboarders, skaters, and writers, all brought together by the same drive to stand out and have a good time. That spirit is what inspired Milano Strike Night: the swaggiest amateur bowling tournament in Milan. 24 crews. One night. One winner.
On Thursday, June 18, we brought together 24 teams at the bowling alley on Via Francesco Cavezzali in Milan. Crews, brands, and collectives from different generations came together to have fun and reconnect with the energy and community that got us here in the first place. The result was one of the most carefree nights we've had in a long time.
After a fierce battle, not even the positive vibes of the Yardie Milano crew or the street knowledge of ctocracy could stop the unstoppable 24.7 Fastlife, who proved just as untouchable on the bowling lanes as they are everywhere else.
A huge thank you to every crew that took part, and of course to everyone who helped make the night happen: For The Culture, for inspiring the tournament; Laf Studio Milano, for the setup and the vibes; Ettore Colombo, for designing the event logo; AlphaTheta, for the DJ equipment; Junky Solutions, for the production—and the psychological support; Lorenzo Fiorino, for creating the most legendary trophy; Black Sheep Community, for keeping the strikes and the music flowing all night; Stovha, for shooting over 3GB of photos—some of which you can check out here.
See you next year.
