In early February 2020, IUTER curated “Together” at Milan’s Triennale: a DIY screen-printing workshop where the crew from Legno Studio taught 30 people how to screen print a T-shirt.

IUTER was founded in 2002 and it was all about T-shirts and screen-printed logos back then. Pure streetwear linked to urban culture, skating and board sports in general. Screen printing made it possible to wear a logo that was essentially a philosophy for life: “Training kills riders, better go party”.

The screens provided by IUTER all featured original designs by some of the many creatives who have worked with the brand, a mix of Milan-based graphic designers and skate brands: Bastard, Chiole, Chef Crew, Giorgio Di Salvo, F.A.C.E., Abdul Jalil, No Text Azienda, Daniel Sansavini, Spaghettochild, IUTER All Stars, NO KIDDIN! and Youth Club Milano.

A total of 60 T-shirts were printed over the course of the day and it was a lot of fun. Our thanks to all the creatives who made their designs available and to the participants who went wild playing with the screens and acrylic colors, modifying the designs with tape and overlapping and mixing them up any way they wanted.
