Summer has finally arrived, and with it the desire to host outdoor events. After Varazze, we returned to our beloved Milan. On Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th, we took over Chiosco Ravizza on Viale Toscana 20 for an event organized together with our friends from A1A and No Kiddin!.
For those unfamiliar, A1A is the Miami-based store that blends streetwear and sportswear, founded a few years ago by New York legend Aaron “Downtown Don” Bondaroff. No Kiddin! is the clothing brand created by our longtime friend Lorenzo, owner of the historic Pepe Rosso To Go in the Big Apple.
The highlight of the event was the launch of the new Soccer Jersey we created in collaboration with both brands, along with the unveiling of the “Special Delivery” jersey (and if you didn’t grab one at the event, it will soon be available exclusively through the A1A website).
“Special Delivery” was also the name of the event itself, which brought together several other projects and communities that were in town for the occasion: Foood, the New York-based restaurant; Serving The People, a non-profit organization that hosts weekly in-person gatherings dedicated to collaboration and meaningful conversation, which held a session on Friday; and Milanimal, one of Milan’s leading Brazilian jiu-jitsu communities, which organized a self-defense workshop.
On top of all that, there was also an open 3v3 soccer tournament and a seminar led by our bro Tenuun Gantushig, ISKA Intercontinental Champion and Italian Pro Muay Thai Champion.
Your response was incredible, and both days were an absolute blast. Those who were there know exactly what we’re talking about. We hope to do it all again next year.
