IUTER Nightmare Tee by Scarful
Halloween limited edition, only 50 pieces.
As Halloween approaches, Scarful is back to collaborate with IUTER.
The artist has created an exclusive hand-made artwork for the occasion. The graphic depicts a typical figure from his unconscious: the Grim Reaper. The print is black on a white t-shirt with glow-in-the-dark details.
Alessandro Maida, A.K.A Scarful, is an artist, illustrator and designer. Born in 1968 in Rome, where he lives and works – his dark and sacrilegious yet evocative and exemplary style has made him one of the most prominent personalities on the Italian art scene.
In the mid-Nineties, he was among the founders of seminal Roman collective Hateful Graphic Vandals and he then took part in the WHY STYLE project with Joe, Nico Pane and Stand, completely altering the canons of Italian street art.
A passionate music fan, he has collaborated with numerous artists and labels including Zu, Bud Spencer Blues Explosion, Bomba Dischi, Propaganda and above all Noyz Narcos and the whole Truce Klan, helping to contribute their unmistakeable gore aesthetic.
There is also space for Scarful in the best national and international publications: from Studio to Espresso via Rolling Stone and Vice Magazine. He is always busy in the fashion industry and has collaborated, among others, with Beams-T Japan, Carhartt and Nike as well as with the best Italian labels including VNGRD, Bastard and obviously IUTER. Since 2013, he has been spending more time working as a tattoo artist and can be found at Grim Reaper Tattoo in Rome.
This collaboration is a limited edition of only 50 pieces that will be available from October 28 on the IUTER Online Store and at the IUTER Store Milan (Corso di Porta Ticinese 48, Milan). All IUTER pieces are entirely made in Italy.
