IUTER x Abarth: Record Capsule collection Release on 31th Oct. 2019

To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Abarth, IUTER delved into the archives of the car brand distinguished by its scorpion emblem and passion for speed and resistance records. Two apparently far-removed Italian brands come together to create a capsule collection intended to pay tribute to the record-breakers who have been racing around oval tracks for hours on end at several hundred kilometers an hour since the 1950s, hoping to make their mark on the history of motor sports.

The phrase “12 hours of life without thinking about the past and the future” is emblazoned across the Record Hoodie (available in two colorways) and the Record Tee. The phrase refers to a record broken with a Fiat Abarth 1000 Pininfarina Record in the 1960s: the driver behind the wheel maintained an average speed of 203.656km/h at the Monza circuit for 12 hours. On the rear, the garments are adorned with the vintage Abarth logo and on the front, with the speed alongside the above phrase using a special raised printing technique.

The Monoposto Crewneck and Monoposto Tee are printed with a photograph of the record-breaking car that inspired the capsule collection and with Abarth written on the back above a list of technical information and all the records broken behind the wheel of the car. The “Record” capsule collection also includes two skateboards, one printed with a photo of the Monoposto and the other with the vintage Abarth logos.

The capsule collection is scheduled for release in October 2019. The precise date will be announced by the IUTER brand. The capsule will be available in 10 selected stores in Italy, from IUTER Store Milano and online at iuter.com.
